Location/Schedule: Newark, NJ (Hybrid) Base Salary: Up to $280k (plus substantial performance bonuses) Practice: Construction Litigation – Complex construction disputes, delay claims, change orders, defects, surety matters, and related energy/project litigation for owners, contractors, developers, and insurers. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage complex construction litigation involving delay claims, change orders, defects, and contract disputes. Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation. Advise clients on surety, mechanics liens, and project‑related insurance and risk issues. Work on high‑stakes matters for owners, contractors, developers, and insurers in state and federal courts. Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates) JD and active NJ bar (NY a plus). 7+ years of construction litigation or related complex commercial litigation experience. Strong trial, deposition, and client‑facing skills (Of Counsel with portable business highly encouraged).
