Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop respectful and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients, understanding their unique challenges and needs.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat various mental health disorders, implementing evidence-based practices.

• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to specific patient circumstances, adjusting strategies as necessary based on their progress.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions—both individual and group—educated by evidence-based approaches and methodologies.

• Utilize ongoing assessments to evaluate patient progress, ensuring consistent communication about treatment efficacy and adjustments.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, including real-time assessment and emotional support during critical moments.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes using electronic medical record systems.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and refer clients to specialists when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will serve a wide range of clients including adolescents, adults, couples, and families, each presenting varied backgrounds and mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid mental health license from the state of Washington, including but not limited to LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating effective therapeutic practice.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to connect and motivate clients.

• Proficient in using technology, including telehealth platforms, electronic medical records systems, and standard office software such as word processing and spreadsheets.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specialization in specific therapeutic modalities—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care—will be given preference. Experience working with diverse populations or in a team-oriented environment is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
