Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree. Three (3) years of full-time wage-earning experience supporting software applications, and troubleshooting PC problems or related tasks. OR High School Diploma or equivalent. Seven (7) years of full-time wage-earning experience troubleshooting PC problems or related tasks. Preferred: • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer sciences, computer engineering or other related field. • Experience with file share systems, web-based application access management, virtual private network (VPN) access, Active Directory, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. • Certifications in Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or other related CyberSecurity certification. • Experience using PowerShell, Active Directory, or identity and access management system tools • Two years of IT customer service experience. • Experience working for a state criminal justice agency • Experience with relevant regulatory IT security requirements, such CJIS, HIPPA, and FERPA. - Authorization to Release Information (HR-074)
- Reports safety hazards and corrects hazards when possible.
- Completes required documentation in the event of an accident/injury within requested time frames.

Experience and Education Substitutions:
- One year of appropriate experience may substitute for one year of college (30 course hours) on a year for year basis.
- Completed course hours of undergraduate study may substitute for up to four years of experience on a basis of 30 course hours for one year of experience.
- Completed course hours of graduate study may substitute for up to two years of experience on a basis of 12 graduate course hours for one year of experience.
- Pro-rated part-time experience may satisfy the experience requirement.
- Knowledge of systems administration
- Knowledge of operating systems, protocols, and network diagnostic methods.
- Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of operating systems and applications
- Knowledge of identity and access management
- Knowledge of computer programming and architecture of scripting languages
- Knowledge of internet security administration
- Skill in Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Skill in solving problems
- Skill in scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing system software
- Skill in troubleshooting computer systems
- Skill in active directory.
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues
- Ability to analyze systems and procedures
- Ability to write and revise standards and procedures
- Ability to use systems management, administration, and other administration tools
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to provide guidance to others.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all stakeholders and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor.
- Ability to coordinate and work in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments; and meet deadlines.
- Ability to process information logically, make decisions, and demonstrate the soundness of those decisions.
- Ability to follow ethical standards and enforce agency policies.
- Ability to work in excess of 40 hours per workweek, and be on-call,
- Ability to travel to statewide agency locations for up to 100 hours per year. Travel may include overnight stays, depending on location and operational needs.
