About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of HR to lead the HR strategy during a high-growth, private equity-backed journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving M&A integration, shaping company culture, and building scalable people strategies to support the organization's significant expansion. Key responsibilities include leading the HR function, developing and executing talent, retention, succession, and workforce planning strategies, overseeing payroll operations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The role also involves partnering with operational leaders to support a large, field-based workforce, standardizing policies and practices across acquired businesses, and managing employee relations, performance, and leadership development initiatives. Applicants for the Head of HR position at the company must have a proven track record in payroll leadership, HR compliance, workplace safety programs, M&A integration, and team management. Essential behaviors for success in this role include being highly accountable, results-oriented, commercially astute, and having a hands-on leadership style. The ideal candidate will have 10-12+ years' of progressive HR experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, and a strong background in multi-site and operational workforces, particularly within the industrial or similar operational industries. The role requires a leader who is resilient, adaptable, and action-oriented, with the ability to earn credibility at all levels of the organization and drive organizational change in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
