Key Responsibilities\n \n * Conduct initial assessments to evaluate client mental health status and establish treatment goals. \n * Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evidence-based practices and client's specific needs. \n * Facilitate regular therapy sessions with clients, providing ongoing support and motivation to help them navigate their challenges. \n * Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of individual clients while incorporating culturally responsive practices. \n * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, including consulting with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals as necessary. \n * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in EHR systems. \n * Educate clients about mental health issues and provide resources for additional support when required. \n * Engage in crisis intervention as needed, utilizing strong assessment skills to ensure client safety and well-being. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n This role involves working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. You will also support clients facing substance abuse challenges. With a focus on cultural competence, you will work to understand each client's unique background and life experiences, recognizing and adapting to their needs throughout the therapeutic process. Qualifications\n \n * A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n * Current and valid licensure in New Jersey as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT. \n * A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge across various therapeutic modalities. \n * Deep understanding of mental health disorders, crisis intervention techniques, and cultural competency in therapeutic practice. \n * Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust among clients from diverse backgrounds. \n * Proficient in using electronic health record systems and telehealth technology. \n * Commitment to maintaining ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in all client interactions. \n Preferred Experience\n \n * Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions with an emphasis on trauma-informed care. \n * Previous engagement with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds to support their unique mental health needs. \n * Proven track record of developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans with measurable outcomes. \n Compensation and Benefits\n This role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
