About the Job

Locum NP/PA - Gynecology Surgery First Assist

Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 6-month inpatient surgical assignment assisting with robotic gynecological procedures. The provider will work alongside a supervising surgeon in the operating room, supporting approximately 2-6 surgeries per day.

Position Highlights:

Monday-Friday day schedule.
Inpatient OR setting.
Robotic gynecological surgery first assist role.
Adult patient population.
Cerner/Oracle EMR.
Estimated credentialing: 2-3 months.

Requirements:

Board Certified NP or PA.
Active New Jersey license.
First Assist Certification with robotic surgery experience.
BLS, ACLS, and ATLS/ATCN certifications.
Previous surgical first assist experience required (new graduates not accepted).
NPDB Self-Query report required at submission.

Candidates must have hands-on experience assisting with robotic gynecologic surgeries and be comfortable working in a collaborative surgical environment.
