Role Description Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway and that trust will be extended to you. This role will report to the Controller and is for a person that works with heart, hustle and a sense of urgency. This role will have the opportunity to grow significantly as our organization grows, supporting the continuous improvement of the Accounting department’s best practices. Your role will consist of the following Ownership of Accounts Payable process Ownership of Accounts Receivable process including Billing, Revenue Recognition and Collections Ownership of General Ledger, Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations Cash Management and Bank Reconciliations Management of Monthly Close process Assisting with Financial Reporting and Analysis Assisting with Annual Financial Audit Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA and public accounting experience preferred but not required Experience with Rillet ERP, Ramp, and Salesforce CRM preferred Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Proven experience as a Senior Accountant for a growing organization, familiar with how to scale up relevant accounting needs as the business grows Strong analytical skills, highly organized and detail oriented #J-18808-Ljbffr
