Work Environment\n

This role will operate primarily from a remote setting, allowing flexibility while working within our Community Health Clinic framework. You will engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams via online platforms while ensuring that each interaction upholds the highest standards of confidentiality and care. Our typical work week runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and on-call availability to accommodate emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the specific needs of students with diverse special needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly adjust individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting mental wellness and successful integration into the school environment.

• Provide therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices for ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma-informed care.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to ensure a holistic treatment approach.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and assessment during mental health crises to support the immediate needs of students.
\n
• Deliver psychoeducation sessions that empower students and families with knowledge about mental health conditions and effective resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation that adheres to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and staff development initiatives to continuously improve service delivery for our students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will serve include children with a variety of special needs, including those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and students experiencing the effects of trauma. Your role is vital in helping these students navigate their unique challenges while fostering an inclusive educational environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and experience implementing trauma-informed care practices.

• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing, and formulating personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster constructive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

• Ability to work independently while thriving within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with children or adolescent clients.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, utilizing various therapeutic approaches.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently document client progress and treatment compliance.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, demonstrating composure during high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
