This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring our clients receive the care they need. Despite being remote, you will become an integral part of a comprehensive care team, utilizing virtual communication tools and electronic health record systems to document and coordinate care effectively. Your role is supported by a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and nursing staff, ensuring continuity and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, strengths, and psychological needs. Utilize assessment findings to tailor interventions effectively.

• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, to address clients' mental health issues.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to develop integrated treatment plans that encompass both medical and psychological perspectives.

• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, ensuring they are fully informed and supported throughout the recovery process.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and understanding among clients, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Advocate for clients' needs within the mental health system, providing resources to assist them in navigating complex treatment options and community services.

• Lead therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings, assisting clients in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is focused on individuals experiencing substance use disorders and concurrent mental health issues. You will work with a diverse patient population, including those in the early stages of recovery requiring acute therapeutic support. Utilizing trauma-informed care principles, you will address clients’ psychological needs while facilitating their transition out of detox and into continuing care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
