The Hillsdale Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position based in Elizabeth, New Jersey, with a focus on providing high-quality mental health services to individuals facing significant life challenges. The successful candidate will assist clients grappling with issues such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health disorders, and substance abuse, particularly within the context of our detox center.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Plan and implement individualized support packages tailored to each client's unique situation, focusing on overcoming dependencies and achieving personal goals.

• Conduct thorough interviews with service users to assess their current condition, needs, strengths, and weaknesses, leveraging both phone and in-person meetings as necessary.

• Develop and manage tailored, measurable goals for clients, addressing each case holistically.
\n
• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress, modifying treatment plans based on their evolving needs and circumstances.
\n
• Provide expert counseling and guidance during sessions, equipping clients with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate their challenges.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of clients' status, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
\n
• Participate in case conferences and be prepared to provide testimonies when required, supporting clients through potential legal proceedings.
\n
• Act as the key-worker coordinating efforts with multidisciplinary teams and community services to enhance clients' pathways to recovery.
\n
• Make referrals to additional community resources to support clients during their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will primarily involve working with clients who are facing multiple layers of adversity, including but not limited to mental health crises, substance use disorders, trauma from domestic violence or child abuse, and significant life transitions. You will be an integral part of their support system, providing empathetic care and guidance as they strive towards recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure in New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Proven clinical experience in providing social work and mental health services, with a strong focus on counseling and support.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our competitive salary range for this position is between USD 75,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
