Product Director - Employee Platforms Data Product Management

As a Product Director in Employee Platforms, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

Job responsibilities

• Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
• Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
• Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
• Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
• Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
• Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
• Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
• Define and execute a multi-year data product vision and roadmap for Employee Platforms, aligning stakeholder outcomes, delivery feasibility, and risk-aware controls.
• Analyze stakeholder workflows end-to-end (process steps, handoffs, decision points, exceptions, and control touchpoints) to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and data-driven decision making
• Convert workflow requirements into data domains, entities, events, and metric definitions; drive consistency and reusability across teams and platforms
• Lead delivery of curated datasets, governed metrics layers (definitions, lineage, quality expectations, access patterns), and analytics products embedded into workflow experiences and operating rhythms
• Establish and operate robust data product governance across a multi-domain enterprise, including common definitions, ownership and stewardship alignment, lineage, data quality management, metadata/documentation standards, and change control - partnering with relevant governance and control stakeholders
• Build and run the data product lifecycle (intake, prioritization, stakeholder forums, documentation, release/change management, quality SLAs, and deprecation), aligned to firm expectations.
• Lead AI enablement for the product portfolio by identifying high-value AI use cases, translating them into product requirements, partnering with Data/Engineering/Risk to deliver safely, and driving adoption with clear KPIs
• Ensure communications about metrics, reporting, and analytics are accurate, clear, and appropriate for intended audiences and channels

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Recognized thought leader within a related field
• Experience with HR / employee platforms or internal enterprise platforms supporting large-scale employee workflows
• Experience with data quality frameworks and controlled reporting in regulated environments
• Familiarity with modern data architectures (warehouse/lakehouse patterns), semantic/metrics layers, and BI enablement patterns
• Experience in Client Services, Customer Success and or Go To Market roles
