Outside Sales Manager

Outside Sales ManagerLaSalle Network has partnered with a luxury design firm in their search for an experienced Outside Sales Manager to manage and grow sales across the NYC Tri-State territory. This role will focus on developing new business, strengthening existing client relationships, driving sales growth, and delivering a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-driven sales professional with a strong track record of success in luxury, design, interiors, or a related industry. This person should be comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating closely with internal teams and leadership.Responsibilities:Manage and grow sales across the NYC Tri-State territory, including both existing and new accounts.Develop relationships with clients, designers, and key industry partners to drive repeat and new business.Identify and pursue new business opportunities and convert prospects into customers.Develop and maintain account plans to maximize territory potential.Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and outside sales calls, targeting approximately 12+ per week.Maintain accurate records of sales activity, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM.Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, including pricing, samples, orders, delivery, and installations.Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer events as needed.Prepare regular territory reports, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts.Partner with marketing and sales leadership on initiatives designed to drive awareness and sales.Help manage and support third-party and employee sales representatives within the territory.Foster strong internal and external relationships through a collaborative, service-oriented approach.Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed.Qualifications:4+ years of successful sales experience, ideally within luxury, interior design, furnishings, or a related industry.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.Strong relationship-building and client management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.Confident, polished, and professional with the ability to build relationships at all levels.Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.Ability to understand market trends, competitive activity, and sales opportunities.Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Passion for design, luxury products, and creating exceptional client experiences is highly preferred.Experience with interior design, architecture, wallcoverings, furnishings, or a related category is a plus.This position pays a base salary of $85k-$105k dependent upon experience and is eligible for OTE typically ranges from $120k-$150k depending on performance. This position also offers a full suite of benefits including (but not limited to) medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401k, and PTO.
