This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while serving clients through our advanced telehealth platform. You will work primarily during regular business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and the impact of mood disorders on their daily lives.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address the specific symptoms of mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective interventions and optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that clients receive holistic support.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in psychological research and treatment methodologies related to mood disorders.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment processes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma surrounding mental health conditions and promote their overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from diverse cultural backgrounds and age groups, seeking support for their unique challenges. Your ability to establish rapport and work collaboratively with clients will be essential in fostering a safe and therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically tailored for mood disorders.

• Proficient understanding of psychopharmacology and a capacity to collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals.

• Strong communication skills and cultural competence to effectively engage with a diverse client population.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services, preferably in a therapy setting focused on mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
