Shifts are scheduled for Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to provide high-quality patient care in our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients with cardiac conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in a telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and responses in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and implement rapid response protocols as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience required.
• Extensive experience with blood product administration and monitoring of dysrhythmias.
• New York State RN license required in hand to submit.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a hard requirement.
