About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Sales with a strong background in P&L ownership, new business acquisition, account development, and distribution management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a US sales team, including 5 Director-level direct reports, and will play a key role in product development input, business planning, category management, and pricing strategy. The role requires a leader who is adept at team management, coaching, and prioritization of resources to maximize results. The Head of Sales will also be expected to be critically inquisquisitive, action-oriented, and take ownership of the US volume, with a focus on planning, execution, and achieving business plan goals. Applicants for the Head of Sales position at the company should have a proven track record in driving and building a successful channel of business, including experience in national account management. The ideal candidate will be a humble and self-aware leader, capable of adapting their style to the needs of the team and organization, and will be committed to engaging and inspiring their team. A strong emphasis is placed on being a team player with marketing, finance, and operations, and on having fantastic listening skills to understand customers, team members, and peers. The role also requires a leader who is hungry, entrepreneurial, and 100% committed to the success of the US market, with experience in leveraging data and category management to achieve sales goals.
