Job Description

Addison Group is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist with a strong focus on Benefits Administration for our client. This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys a hands-on environment and can support employees across a broad range of human resources functions.

The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for benefits-related questions, open enrollment, leave administration, and general HR support. Strong Excel skills are important, particularly for generating reports, reviewing data, and completing reconciliations. The role also requires someone who is comfortable interacting directly with employees and collaborating with operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support annual benefits enrollment while serving as a primary resource for employee benefits inquiries.
• Assist employees with questions related to medical benefits, leave programs, FMLA, and other applicable time-off or leave matters.
• Work with external benefits providers and third-party partners to resolve employee issues and maintain accurate information.
• Prepare, organize, and analyze HR data using Microsoft Excel, including reports, spreadsheets, and data reconciliations.
• Provide general HR support during periods outside of benefits enrollment, including onboarding, recruiting, compliance, payroll support, employee relations, investigations, compensation, and retirement-related inquiries.
• Assist with employee engagement activities, job description development, talent initiatives, and other HR projects as needed.
• Partner with operational leaders to address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR information.
• Communicate HR information clearly and effectively with employees at various levels of the organization.
• Help identify HR-related issues and recommend practical solutions while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HR education or certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required.
• At least 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with significant exposure to benefits administration.
• Hands-on experience supporting open enrollment and employee benefits programs.
• Familiarity with FMLA, leave administration, employee relations, compliance, and other general HR functions.
• Experience working with an HRIS; ADP experience is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel capabilities, including reporting, data analysis, spreadsheet creation, and reconciliation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working directly with employees in both an office and operational environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with HR and business leadership while working independently when appropriate.
