Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorder symptoms, assessing their intensity and impact on daily functioning.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their values, goals, and preferences are prioritized.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' needs.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to promote mental wellness.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients grappling with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and other mood disorders. You will serve a diverse community, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, providing them with critical support as they navigate their mental health journeys.
