Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Proficient in evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation for a school-based caseload
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
• Knowledge of IEPs and familiarity with special education procedures
• Adaptable, organized, and comfortable managing fluctuating schedules or caseload needs

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
• Provide direct intervention to support students’ academic participation and independence
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families during IEP meetings and progress reviews
• Maintain detailed records and reports in compliance with district policies and federal guidelines
• Offer recommendations for classroom adaptations, equipment, and strategies to optimize student success
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the positive school community
