Technical Accounting Manager

Technical Accounting ManagerOur client is seeking a finance professional with a strong accounting background to support complex financial initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. In this position, you will conduct in-depth research on accounting issues, create and review technical accounting documentation, assist in the preparation of SEC filings, and remain current with relevant US GAAP and reporting requirements. You will play a key role in interpreting data, recommending best practices, and supporting various ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing the organization's financial health.Compensation Range (pending experience): $110k-$125kRequired SkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldAt least 4 years of hands-on accounting experience, including time in a public accounting environmentStrong understanding of US GAAP principles and the ability to interpret technical accounting guidanceDemonstrated capability in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and drawing meaningful conclusionsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of basic financial reporting tools and conceptsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for explaining complex concepts to diverse audiencesDetail-oriented and capable of operating effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced settingPreferred SkillsMaster's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar disciplineCPA certification or progress toward CPA licensureFamiliarity with SEC reporting, lease accounting, and revenue recognition rulesExposure to broader financial concepts beyond accounting, including forecasting and internal controlsAbout the CompanyOur client is a forward-looking organization focused on innovation and long-term growth.
