Experienced Horse Care Staff
Part-Time Weekend Position (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Additional hours may be available as needed.

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Horse Care Staff member to join our team in Mequon, WI. This position is ideal for someone who is confident working independently and has extensive hands-on horse care experience.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Extensive horse handling and horse care experience is required.

  • You will be responsible for the daily care of 17 horses .

• Complete all daily horse care duties, including:

  • Feeding and watering.
  • Turnout and bringing horses in.
  • Stall cleaning and barn chores.
  • General barn maintenance.
  • Care of other small animals on the property.
• This position is worked independently. You will be the only horse care staff member on-site during your shift, so you must be self-motivated, comfortable working alone, and capable of making sound decisions when needed.
• Strong time management and organizational skills are essential to ensure all daily responsibilities are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to maintain a consistent routine with attention to detail.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Job Details:

• Part-time weekends, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

  • It is mandatory that you will be on staff every weekend unless it is discussed in advance.
• Additional hours may be available as needed.
• Pay is competitive and based on experience.
