Position Overview

The firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with at least two years of civil litigation experience. This role provides hands-on experience across a variety of matters, with the opportunity to grow into more specialized areas such as legal malpractice and attorney discipline.

This position is open due to growth, not turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
• Conduct written discovery and depositions
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
• Work on insurance defense and complex business litigation matters
• Assist with legal malpractice and professional liability cases
• Gain exposure to State Bar defense work over time
• Contribute to appellate briefing and legal research
• Provide strategic analysis and client counsel

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of civil litigation experience
• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters effectively
• Interest in developing as a long-term litigation attorney

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $125,000 - $135,000
• Performance-based bonus opportunities
