Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in an educational setting as an Occupational Therapist. This contract role is available for an immediate start and runs through June 10. You'll work on-site within a network of dedicated OT professionals, ensuring both collaboration and consistency in your caseload. Work hours are a guaranteed minimum of 30 per week, with placements tailored to your proximity, interests, and the needs of the district.

Your focus will be on empowering students to succeed academically and functionally, with the added support of experienced colleagues sharing best practices and resources.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Alabama Occupational Therapy certification and license (must be able to provide proof)
• Experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting preferred
• Ability to work independently while actively collaborating with a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to student-centered therapy and upholding confidentiality standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services on campus
• Document and report on student progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other OT team members for student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt interventions and strategies to address diverse learning needs
