Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations in either an inpatient or outpatient environment and create tailored treatment plans for each individual
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with a team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge strategies, and home exercise routines
• Ensure all evaluations, treatments, and patient progress are meticulously documented as per facility protocols and regulations
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
