Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Paraprofessional license or Teaching Assistant certification (required)
• Prior experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting
• Ability to communicate positively and collaborate with students, teachers, and staff
• Flexible approach to working with diverse learning needs and adapting to classroom dynamics
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient demeanor

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as a 1:1 aide supporting the academic and social development of an assigned student, or serve as a classroom aide assisting the teacher with varied classroom activities
• Assist with daily lessons, small group work, educational activities, and individualized support
• Encourage inclusion and participation, helping create a welcoming atmosphere for all students
• Monitor student progress and behavior, offering feedback to the classroom teacher
• Support classroom routines, maintain organization, and promote a safe learning space
