Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support capacity
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping children
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional relevant education or certification a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer individualized instructional and behavioral support to an elementary-aged student
• Assist in implementing educational plans and delivering modifications or accommodations as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals to foster student progress
• Encourage positive social interactions and model appropriate classroom behavior
• Help with daily classroom routines and monitor student safety
• Track student progress and communicate observations to the support team

This is a full-time position, totaling 32.5 hours each week, with an immediate start and commitment through the end of the school year.
