Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma.

• Perform thorough diagnostic assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals and mental health needs.

• Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach for each client.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic health records (EHR) to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards while providing quality care.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision and continuing education to remain abreast of new research and methodologies in mental health counseling.

• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments, utilizing skills to manage emergencies and protect client safety.

The clients you will serve range widely in age and background, all facing various mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and relational problems. You will utilize your clinical expertise to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their thoughts and feelings, facilitating healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a counseling capacity with individuals, groups, and families.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

• Strong organizational abilities, ensuring efficient workflow and record-keeping.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and related technology.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.

• Previous direct experience in crisis intervention is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
