Corporate and Transactional Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a bright and ambitious Corporate and Transactional Associate to join its dynamic team in Boston. This position is ideal for candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate law who are eager to work with closely held companies, founders, executives, and investors throughout New England. The role involves a balanced mix of mergers and acquisitions, company formation and restructuring, and general advisory work. Duties Assist in the formation and restructuring of closely held companies. Provide general outside counsel and advisory services to clients. Draft and review various legal documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Work directly with business owners and management on governance, contracts, and strategic partnerships. Support clients with private financing, recruitment incentives for key employees, and M&A transactions. Cultivate relationships and grow a personal book of business. Requirements 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate/transactional law within a law firm setting. Active Massachusetts Bar license with ties to New England. Strong communication, organizational, and technological skills. Excellent client‑facing abilities. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Massachusetts Bar license. Skills Proficient in drafting legal documents with meticulous attention to detail. Experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, leasing, and financing is a plus. Familiarity with liquor licensing and hospitality law is advantageous.
