About the Position

Connect Staffing Solutions, LLC is hiring 3 experienced Lift Operators / Shipping & Receiving Agents for an established logistics and warehouse distribution company in North Houston.

We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious individuals with hands-on lift equipment operation and shipping and receiving experience. Candidates must be comfortable performing both equipment operation and general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate Stand-Up and Sit-Down Forklifts to transport, load, unload, and stage materials.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
Prepare, pack, label, and stage outgoing shipments.
Verify shipping documents, packing slips, and inventory records.
Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory.
Identify and report damaged materials, shortages, and shipping discrepancies.
Assist with order picking, inventory counts, and general warehouse operations.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 year of recent Lift Operator / Forklift experience.
Minimum 2 year of Shipping & Receiving experience.
Experience operating Stand-Up and Sit-Down Forklifts .
Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
Knowledge of shipping documentation and warehouse inventory procedures.
RF scanner experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable performing physical warehouse duties.
Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.
Reliable transportation.
Must live within approximately 15–20 miles of ZIP code 77066 .

Employment Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete E-Verify.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Background check required (no violent or theft-related convictions, subject to applicable law and individualized review).
