Founding BDR

Finrep AI

Finrep.ai is building AI-powered financial disclosure intelligence for CFO teams at public and pre-IPO companies. SEC reporting, technical accounting, IR, and corporate counsel teams use us to work faster on 10-Ks, 10-Qs, proxies, S-1s, and 8-Ks - surfacing peer disclosures, benchmarks, and precedent language in seconds instead of the hours it takes today. We compete in a market currently served by Intelligize, AlphaSense, and Workiva, with a product that’s faster, more accurate, and built for how disclosure work actually happens. We’re early, well-funded, and growing quickly. The Role You’ll be Finrep’s first dedicated top‑of‑funnel hire – researching accounts, building targeted outbound, and booking qualified meetings for the Founding AE and the founders across the entire US. You’ll define what our outbound motion looks like at the foundation, which means everything you build – sequences, account tiers, research workflows – becomes the template the team scales on. There’s a clear path to AE here for someone who performs. What You’ll Do Run targeted outbound campaigns nationally into public companies, pre‑IPO companies, and accounting firms – across email, phone, and LinkedIn Research accounts with real depth: read recent 10‑Ks and 10‑Qs, identify filing pain (restatements, SEC comment letters, IPO prep, recent CFO transitions), and map buying committees across SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting, IR, and Corporate Counsel Personalize every meaningful touch. Generic sequences don’t land with these buyers, and we’re not going to pretend they do Book qualified discovery meetings and hand off cleanly to the Founding AE Test new messaging, sequences, and channels; document what works and kill what doesn’t Maintain crisp CRM hygiene and contribute to weekly pipeline reviews with the founders What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of outbound BDR/SDR experience at a B2B SaaS company – or strong evidence you can do this work (e.g., financial services / Big 4 / law firm background plus a clear, demonstrated interest in moving into sales) Comfort prospecting into senior finance and legal personas without being intimidated by the titles Strong writing – you can draft a cold email that sounds like a person who did their homework, not a template that name‑drops a competitor and asks for 15 minutes Resourceful with research; you can find an angle on an account that others miss Familiarity with Outreach or Salesloft, Apollo or ZoomInfo, and Salesforce or HubSpot Basic SEC filing literacy (you know the difference between a 10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, and S‑1 – or you’ll learn it in week one) Prior experience in finance, accounting, audit, or legal before pivoting to sales Past early‑stage / founding BDR experience What You’ll Get Founding equity grant Clear, performance‑based path to AE Direct mentorship from the founders and the Founding AE Full health/dental/vision, 401(k), generous PTO #J-18808-Ljbffr Finrep AI
