**Years of Experience Required:** - 2 years **Certifications Required:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)* - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)* **Skills Required:** - Medical Intensive Care Unit - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG - Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP) - Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring - Chronic/Acute Renal failure - Arterial line management - Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - Starting and maintaining IVs - Continuous IV sedation - Emergency Medications - Titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive drips - CVA/Acute Stroke management - Assist with management of BiPAP - Care of Ventilated Patient - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Respiratory failure - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Ventilator Management - Infection Prevention - Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE - Phlebotomy - Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac **Additional Preferred Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience - Trauma Level I Experience - Charting System Experience with Epic **Licensure:** - Missouri (MO) or compact license acceptable (can submit without license but need MO or compact) **Other Requirements:** - Travel Experience Required - Radius rule: candidate’s home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. *Indicates the skill is part of additional detailed or possibly advanced competencies listed in the document.
