Patient Access Representative IIThe Patient Access Representative II plays a vital dual role within the PACE clinic, providing both administrative/clerical support and clinical medical assistant responsibilities. This position works collaboratively with providers and interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless, high-quality coordinated care for our participants.This role supports clinic operations by assisting providers, facilitating participant access, and delivering direct clinical services (including phlebotomy) to a diverse geriatric population with complex health needs.Key responsibilities include providing clerical and clinical support to PACE clinic providers, performing medical assistant duties, explaining clinic routines and clinical procedures to participants and family members, coordinating participant flow to ensure efficient and effective care delivery, communicating clearly and professionally via phone, in person, and in writing, delivering exceptional customer service to participants, families, and team members, maintaining accurate documentation and attention to detail, and working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Qualifications include a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, American Heart Association BLS Provider certification, minimum of 1 year as a nursing assistant or currently enrolled in a nursing program with completion of two clinical rotations, minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a clinical setting preferred, minimum of 1 year experience working with the geriatric population, and bilingual Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.
