Industry Real Estate Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Capital Markets to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in scaling the distribution platform, with a primary focus on leading capital formation efforts within the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) channel. This role involves designing and executing a scalable distribution strategy for an open-ended investment vehicle, as well as building and managing relationships across various wealth platforms. The AVP will be responsible for the origination and execution of new investor relationships, advising on product structuring and go-to-market strategy, and representing the firm externally. A key aspect of the position is to partner closely with Investor Relations to ensure an institutional-quality, high-touch investor experience. Applicants for the AVP, Capital Markets position should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in capital formation, fundraising, or distribution, with a proven track record of raising significant capital, particularly in the RIA channel. The role requires established relationships across RIAs, family offices, multi-family offices, and/or wirehouses, as well as a strong understanding of real estate and alternative investment products. The ideal candidate will have a history of actively originating and closing investor relationships, be adept at operating in a growing, entrepreneurial environment, and possess strong communication skills with the ability to engage a sophisticated investor base. A proactive, builder-oriented mindset and the ability to contribute to the long-term growth of the firm's capital formation function are also essential.
