Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This is a Night Shift position, offering 36-48 hours of work per week. The role requires a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient assessments and nursing care to individuals in the acute care setting.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Respond effectively to emergency situations adhering to protocols and procedures.
