Position Type: Full-time on-site, Hourly non-exempt

Job Location: 1675 N. Delaware Street, Chandler AZ 85225

Hours: Monday thru Thursday, 5:00am – 3:15pm (with potential OT on Friday)

General Summary:

Under the supervision and mentorship of the Safety and Support Manager, The EH&S Administrative Assistant/Trainer is responsible to assist with administrative tasks for the area’s safety program. Duties include but not limited to: coordinating/assisting with new hire orientation training and paperwork. Process new hire customer badging. Responsible to teach OSHA 10, OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR trainings. OSHA and First Aid/CPR certification training will be provided if individual does not possess these certifications.

Education and Experience:

• 2 years administrative assistant experience
• Training background desirable
• Experience working in a construction environment desirable
• Material procurement experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations/data with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to work with diverse population of workers
• Ability to gain knowledge of field EH&S representative position
