Job Description
MICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MICU Registered Nurse to join our team on a night shift basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care nursing and be equipped to handle complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care to individuals in the MICU.
Manage and monitor patients with conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and heart failure.
Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by the healthcare team.
Conduct assessments and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize advanced patient care technologies, including CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella.
Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with the ability to provide 1:1 care when needed based on patient acuity.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
Experience in MICU or critical care nursing is highly preferred.
Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
Ability to work every other weekend.

Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule of 4x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30.
