Public Health Intern
East Orange, NJ
Responsibilities Assists in the coordination and implementation of public health programs and initiatives Supports community outreach activities, including health fairs and vaccination clinics. Collects, enters and maintains program data; assists with data analysis and reporting. Participates in Community Health Needs Assessments and related surveys. Provides support for grant‑funded programs, including documentation and surveys. Assists in the development of health education materials and presentations. Attend staff meetings and training. Collaborate with various divisions (Nursing, Environmental Health & Homeless Prevention) Qualifications and Education Requirements Applicants must be a current permanent NJ undergraduate/graduate student or have graduated in less than a year. Must be in progress of receiving or have a degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Nursing, Social Work, Environmental Health, Health Administration, Urban Planning or a related field. Preferred Skills Entry level knowledge of public health principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) #J-18808-Ljbffr
