TikTok Shop - Assortment Strategy Manager

Responsibilities Analyze consumer demand trends and identify key product categories, brands, and price segments with strong growth potential on TikTok Shop. Develop product assortment strategies that strengthen platform supply and ensure products align with market demand. Partner with merchant strategy teams and industry teams to guide supply development in priority product categories. Support major campaigns and marketing initiatives by identifying high‑potential products and category opportunities. Conduct data‑driven analysis to identify supply gaps and propose targeted initiatives to strengthen product availability and competitiveness. Monitor product performance and market trends, and continuously refine assortment strategies to support sustainable growth. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in e‑commerce, marketplace strategy, category management, consulting, retail strategy, or related industries. Strong analytical capabilities and experience using data to identify business opportunities. Familiarity with consumer trends and retail or e‑commerce market dynamics. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in marketplace platforms, retail strategy, consulting, or category management. Strong business judgment and structured problem‑solving capabilities. Experience working with data to support business analysis and strategic planning. Self‑driven with strong ownership and the ability to adapt in a fast‑moving environment. Compensation The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $151,050 - $273,600 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
