What you’ll need to succeed:
• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar capacity assisting students in an educational setting
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and fellow staff members
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the ever-changing needs in the classroom
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to support diverse learners
• High school diploma or equivalent (some roles may require further educational credentials)
• Familiarity with classroom management strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus

Daily responsibilities will include:
• Offering instructional and behavioral support to students under the direction of certified teaching staff
• Helping implement lesson plans and adapting materials to support individual learning styles
• Assisting students with daily activities, including academic tasks and social development
• Monitoring student progress and reporting observations to teachers
• Supporting classroom organization, preparation of materials, and maintaining a safe environment
• Encouraging positive student interactions and providing guidance as needed
