About the Opportunity

Talent Undiscovered is partnering with an established manufacturing organization in Santa Ana, California to hire an experienced People Operations Partner .

This is a highly visible, hands-on HR role supporting a workforce of approximately 350+ employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The People Operations Partner will work closely with employees, frontline supervisors, and business leaders to provide day-to-day HR support while helping strengthen employee engagement, manager effectiveness, and overall people practices.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being close to the business and employees—not simply administering HR processes. This role requires a strong foundation in employee relations, California employment practices, coaching managers, and supporting an hourly/manufacturing workforce.

Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees, supervisors, and managers across the organization.
• Provide hands-on support for employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, investigations, performance issues, attendance, and corrective action.
• Coach and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and effective people-management practices.
• Build strong relationships with employees across all levels of the organization and maintain a visible presence within the manufacturing environment.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational needs, employee engagement, retention, and talent initiatives.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance discussions, coaching, and development planning.
• Help ensure consistent application of company policies and HR practices.
• Partner with recruiting and business leaders on workforce needs, hiring, onboarding, and employee integration.
• Support employee engagement and culture initiatives that improve the overall employee experience.
• Assist with organizational changes, employee communications, and other People Operations initiatives.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure HR practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the employee experience.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
• Prior HR/People Operations experience in a manufacturing, distribution, operations, or similarly fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
• Strong experience handling employee relations and performance-management matters .
• Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices .
• Demonstrated ability to coach and influence frontline supervisors and managers.
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee matters professionally.
• Comfortable working independently and balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Ability to work on-site in Santa Ana, CA .
