Salary: $80,000 - $90,000

Job Summary:

As the Conference Center Manager , you will oversee the daily operations of a newly designed, flagship conference and event space within a premier financial services environment. This highly visible role brings together conference services, hospitality, catering, event operations, and client engagement to create exceptional meeting and event experiences.

You will serve as the operational leader for the conference center, partnering closely with catering, culinary, audio visual, workplace experience, and client teams to ensure seamless execution of events ranging from executive meetings and board sessions to large-scale receptions and corporate functions.

This position is ideal for a hospitality leader who enjoys collaboration, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance strategic planning with hands-on event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the conference center and event spaces.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for conference center users, providing guidance and support from initial planning through event completion.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand meeting objectives and develop successful event plans.
• Coordinate room scheduling, space utilization, event logistics, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate closely with catering, culinary, conference services, workplace experience, and AV teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Oversee event setups, room transitions, and guest flow throughout the facility.
• Support a wide range of events, including executive meetings, conferences, leadership summits, town halls, plated dinners, networking receptions, and special programs.
• Ensure all event details are communicated clearly to operational teams through event orders, planning meetings, and operational reviews.
• Monitor service delivery and guest satisfaction, identifying opportunities to enhance the overall experience.
• Anticipate challenges, respond to changing event needs, and implement solutions that support both client and operational goals.
• Assist with budgeting, operational reporting, and performance metrics as needed.
• Support the opening, growth, and continuous improvement of the conference center operation.
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on hospitality, service excellence, and innovation.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in conference services, event management, hospitality, corporate dining, hotels, convention centers, or workplace experience environments.
• Experience coordinating or managing meetings and events within a corporate or hospitality setting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating across catering, conference services, AV, facilities, and hospitality teams.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of meeting planning, event logistics, and space management principles.
• Familiarity with conference center operations, meeting technology, and audio-visual coordination.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working in a dynamic environment with changing schedules and event requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and event management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
