Workday HCM Business Analyst (Contract)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (No Extension Expected)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Business Analyst to join the Core HCM Product Team . In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders, product stakeholders, and technical teams to support the delivery and enhancement of Workday HCM solutions. You will play a key role in gathering and refining business requirements, configuring and validating solutions, and ensuring successful user acceptance testing (UAT) prior to production releases.

Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, deep Workday expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable Workday HCM solutions and configurations.
• Support the design, testing, and deployment of enhancements within the Workday Core HCM platform.
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure solution quality and readiness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize business processes.
• Provide clear communication and project updates to stakeholders, including executive-level audiences.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Workday HCM processes and functionality.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Workday HCM in a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Lead Analyst capacity.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and delivering Workday configurations.
• Experience planning and supporting testing activities, including UAT.
• Strong knowledge of the Workday Business Process Framework .
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional Workday HCM modules, including Payroll, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking .
• Experience supporting or collaborating on Workday integrations .
• Current or prior Workday certification .
• Experience supporting Workday environments within large, complex organizations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• 550 South 4th Street, Minneapolis, MN , or
• Charlotte CIC, Charlotte, NC
