An exciting opportunity awaits for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a school-based contract assignment in the Detroit area. This position involves working onsite with a supportive educational team, providing services to a caseload kept well below the state maximum of 60 students. With a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours from August 17, 2026, through June 23, 2027, you’ll play a vital role in helping students achieve their communication goals in an engaging school environment.

What you bring:

• Current, valid Michigan SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Knowledge of evaluation procedures, IEP development and implementation
• Strong collaborative skills and commitment to working with educators and families
• Adaptability and professionalism in onsite educational settings

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations for referred students
• Develop and implement IEP goals in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions as outlined in IEPs
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of services and student progress
• Partner with teachers, staff, and parents to support student communication needs
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration to promote positive student outcomes
