Senior Power BI Analyst

Pursuing a Senior Power BI Analyst to join the Finance Technology and Digital Transformation team in our Finance Department. This role will support the rapid growth of FinTech across multiple departments at the firm. The position is available for a hybrid work schedule (two days per week onsite). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that meet the needs of various stakeholders. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Utilize strong SQL skills to query and manipulate data from databases and other sources to support reporting requirements. Develop and enhance SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports to complement Power BI solutions when necessary. Create and optimize data models in Power BI to ensure efficient data analysis and visualization. Act as a mentor to junior developers and analysts, providing guidance and training in Power BI best practices. Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of Power BI projects, from requirements gathering to deployment. Identify and implement performance improvements in existing Power BI solutions to enhance efficiency and user experience. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions. Stay up‑to‑date with the latest Power BI features, trends, and best practices, and apply them to improve reporting capabilities. Education and Work Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred). 6+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio of reports and dashboards. Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Proficiency in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). Strong data modeling skills. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and mentoring skills. Experience leading and managing Power BI projects. Certifications in Power BI are a plus. Location The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto. This position is available for a hybrid work schedule (two days per week onsite). Compensation The anticipated pay range for this position is $116,875 - $158,125 per year. Compensation may include a discretionary year‑end merit bonus based on performance.
