Occupational Therapist School Setting - Scotts Valley, CA

Hours: 8 hours per week (2 days, approximately 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM)
Student Grades Served: Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th Grade
School Year: 2026-2027


Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students to enhance their functional abilities and support academic success
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement IEP goals
• Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and monitor progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively about student outcomes
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and support school-wide initiatives related to student wellness

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials and experience working in school settings
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices, especially in early childhood and elementary populations
• Ability to engage and motivate young students aged TK-5th grade
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
• Familiarity with special education regulations and individualized education program (IEP) processes
