Accounting Clerk
Prime Supply 1 — Riverside, California
Full-Time | Onsite
Prime Supply 1 is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our daily accounting operations. This position handles invoices, payments, customer billing, and financial records while helping keep transactions accurate, organized, and on time.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports for payment.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare customer invoices and maintain accurate billing records.
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end closing.
- Prepare and enter journal entries as directed.
- Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
- Assist the accountant and management with financial reports and administrative tasks.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper accounting records.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, or similar accounting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Clear communication skills and a professional approach when working with vendors and team members.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
