Job Summary:
Infusion Nurse position available in Alexandria, Louisiana. The role involves caring for patients undergoing non-chemotherapy infusions, requiring experience with intravenous (IV) procedures. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment. This is a full-time opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification from AHA; RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
• Experience: 0 years of experience required; 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
• Specialty: Infusion nursing
• Weekend Requirement: Weekends are appointment only, and may involve working a few hours on a rotating schedule
• On Call Requirement: No call
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Nurse / Patient Ratio: 5:1
• Dress Code: Any color scrub
• Additional Information: The nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care, and demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, medication administration, patient education, and documentation.
