Facilities Maintenance Assistant

$17.49 to $18.65 per hour, full time, with a choice of day or later-start shifts at The Shores, a senior living community within walking distance of the beach in Ocean City, NJ. Apply today and hear back within 48 hours.

What You'll Do

• Fix everyday problems around the community, including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems
• Answer repair requests from residents and staff and see them through to the finish
• Do preventive maintenance so equipment and mechanical systems keep running
• Log work orders and inspections in our maintenance tracking system
• Keep supplies stocked and help with ordering and storage
• Spot safety hazards and report them or fix them

What You'll Need

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Able to read work orders and safety labels, and to talk with residents and staff in English
• 18 or older

Preferred:

• Hands-on repair experience from a job, trade school, or your own projects
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, or plumbing

Schedule
Full time, Monday to Friday. Pick the shift that fits your life:

• 9am to 5pm
• 11am to 7pm
• 12pm to 8pm

All shifts include an every other weekend and holiday rotation
