Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual, comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the strengths, challenges, and mental health needs of students.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions, to promote coping strategies and emotional regulation.

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to coordinate and ensure integrated care that supports students' overall wellness.

• Advocate for students’ rights and facilitate access to community resources, educational support services, and crisis intervention as needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes within electronic health records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily engage with children and adolescents navigating various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. You will be responsible for nurturing a therapeutic alliance that respects their unique backgrounds, experiences, and cultural contexts, which is essential in providing effective and personalized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services in educational or community settings is essential.

• Proven proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to client needs.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport building with diverse populations, particularly students.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience in a school environment or with school-aged children is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with school mental health programs and community resource networks. Certification in evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or similar modalities is a plus.
