This position operates remotely, allowing for flexible work-life integration while serving students in our partnered school facilities. Our full-time schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a balanced work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized psychotherapy to students experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and social functioning and identify necessary interventions.

• Developing and tailoring culturally responsive and evidence-based treatment plans that align with each student’s unique needs and strengths.

• Collaborating closely with educators, school administrators, and other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure a coordinated approach to student care.

• Monitoring patient progress and actively revising treatment plans based on feedback from students, their families, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Providing educational sessions and resources for students and families regarding mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintaining ethical standards of conduct, including adherence to confidentiality, obtaining informed consent, and documentation via electronic health records (EHRs).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students within the school system, ranging from elementary to high school age, each presenting unique mental health needs. Understanding the dynamics of school life and the pressures faced by students today will be crucial in developing rapport and implementing effective interventions. This role requires sensitivity to cultural, social, and developmental factors influencing students' mental health.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing psychotherapy and other mental health services, particularly in educational or community settings.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to foster relationships with students and collaborate with educational staff and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within school environments or with adolescent populations is highly desirable, as it enables a better understanding of the specific challenges faced by students. Compensation and Benefits\n
