Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct ongoing assessments and provide both individual and group therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each student’s unique circumstances.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with educators, school administrators, and parents to enhance the treatment plans and support systems for students.
\n
• Document client interactions and progress accurately and timely, adhering to department policies and regulations, including maintaining electronic medical records (EMRs).

• Develop crisis intervention plans and provide immediate support in emergency situations, utilizing skills in assessment and intervention for psychological issues.

• Facilitate regular check-ins and follow-ups with clients and their families to ensure continuous support and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.

• Participate in team meetings to discuss case progress and contribute to the development of comprehensive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, you will primarily focus on school-aged children and adolescents facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your interventions will be tailored to the unique needs of students, providing them with the skills and support necessary to navigate their emotional landscapes while maximizing their academic potential.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.

• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient setting, ideally within a school or similar environment.

• Proficient computer skills, including experience with EMR systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and telehealth platforms.

• Exceptional organizational abilities, self-direction, and a proactive approach in managing the caseload effectively.
